Cadillac, new rules & a €30 million upgrade
The 2026 season marks the beginning of a new era. For the first time in years, the starting grid expands to 11 teams, as the US cult brand Cadillac officially enters the ring. In line with the technical revolution – with 50% electric share and 100% sustainable fuels – the Red Bull Ring is also investing massively. Approximately €30 million will be invested in new pit buildings for the additional team, a state-of-the-art Medical Center, and the expansion of the Hotel Schönberghof. Spielberg is upgrading to remain the most modern racetrack in the world.
Stay Close: Only 10 minutes to the tarmac
Forget long journeys and shuttle buses. At the Schitterhof, you live by the motto "Stay Close". In just 900 meters – about 10 minutes' walk – you'll be at the main entrance of the Red Bull Ring. Your vehicle will be securely parked at the campsite right next to your pitch throughout the weekend.

This way, you recharge the necessary energy to experience the qualifying and the race wide awake.
