AIRPOWER 2027 — Camping with a View of the Airfield
The AIRPOWER is Austria's largest air show — and CAMPING WEISS in Spielberg is only 1.7 km as the crow flies from the Hinterstoisser air base, making it one of the closest civilian camping sites to the event.

Expected on Friday, September 3, and Saturday, September 4, 2027. You can camp with us from Thursday, September 2, to Sunday, September 5, 2027 — that's 4 nights in a row
Important for Date Security
The date is not yet finally confirmed by the Austrian Armed Forces. To ensure you're not stressed about this, we guarantee:
- If the date is officially postponed → your booking will automatically be transferred to the new date, no effort on your part.
- As long as the date is not confirmed, you can cancel free of charge at any time.
What You See from the Pitch
At a distance of 1.7 km, the airplanes are large and clearly visible in the sky. Eurofighter displays, international aerobatic teams (Frecce Tricolori, Patrouille Suisse, Patrulla Águila), helicopter choreographies — all directly from the pitch, without the hustle and bustle of 250,000 visitors at the event site.
Routes to the Event Site
- By Car: Take Stadlhoferstraße to Triester Straße to the stadium parking lot in Zeltweg — about 5.4 km, nine minutes' drive. Avoid peak times!
- By Bike & on Foot: Spielbergerstraße → connecting path (along the air base fence) → Gaststätte "Die Burg" → car-free walking/cycling path → EAST entrance. Approximately 5.5 km, about 20 minutes by bike. A real insider tip and perfect for families with children.

Right on site, Matteo operates his Pizza Food Truck. Fresh Italian pizza and chilled beer — no need to drive to Zeltweg in the AirPower rush or wait in long lines.
