Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to book with us. This page states honestly what is already accessible on our website, what is not — and how to get help if something does not work for you.
Standard and status
We measure our pages against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA. Last tested on 2 September 2026 (technical review of the home page and the booking path). We publish this statement voluntarily.
Legal background
The Austrian Accessibility Act (Barrierefreiheitsgesetz, BaFG) exempts micro-enterprises from the accessibility requirements for services: fewer than ten employees and no more than 2 million euros of annual turnover. S.IN GmbH is below both thresholds, so the requirements of the BaFG do not apply to our service. We still follow them as far as we can — and we say openly where we fall short.
What works
- The entire booking path can be operated without a mouse, and the currently selected element is clearly marked.
- All input fields are labelled; your browser can fill in name, e-mail and phone automatically.
- Images have alternative text; purely decorative images are marked as such.
- The language of each page is declared, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- Zooming up to 200 % is not blocked, on mobile devices either.
- Body text has a contrast ratio of 21:1, far above the requirement.
- Every page has exactly one main heading and clearly separated regions.
What is not accessible yet
We know about these points and are working on them:
- Gold buttons: White text on our gold gives a contrast ratio of 4.39:1 instead of the required 4.5:1 — just below. This affects the “Book now” button, among others. Fix planned by 31 October 2026.
- Error messages in the booking form are shown visually but are not announced automatically by screen readers. Fix planned by 31 October 2026.
- No “skip to content” link: keyboard users have to pass through the navigation on every page. Fix planned by 31 October 2026.
- Heading levels skip in the footer area of the page. Fix planned by 31 October 2026.
- Maps and PDF documents (site plan, arrival sheet, invoice) are not accessible. On request we will give you their content in a form that works for you.
