MotoGP · DTM · F1 · Red Bull Ring
You're here for the race, not the party. That's exactly what this place is built for: short walk, clear rules, kit that actually works.
Distance
900 m
lit, paved walking and cycling path to the main entrance. 10 min on foot, 2 min by bike.
Quiet hours
from 23:00
enforced by security. No DJ, no bass until four.
Colour code
WEISS
our official colour code at the Red Bull Ring — since 1999. That's how you find us in the traffic guidance system.
Why here of all places
On race day only one thing counts: being well rested.

Most camps at the Ring crank it up till the early hours. With us it's lights out from 23:00 — with security that enforces it. Sounds strict. But it feels exactly right on Sunday at 14:00, when you're wide awake trackside while the neighbouring camp is still hunting for the coffee.
And when the chequered flag drops: the S36 on-ramp (Zeltweg Ost) is 800 m away. You roll onto the motorway while others are still looking for their tent.

Who is behind CAMPING WEISS
Hosts who wrote the book
Behind CAMPING WEISS Spielberg is the Schitter family: Ina Schitter runs the campsite, Ekkehard Schitter supports it as an adviser. Their experience from Formula 1, MotoGP and AIRPOWER at the Red Bull Ring is captured in “EVENTCAMPING – When a meadow becomes a town” – a book about how a meadow turns into a town for one weekend, and what guests should notice of it: nothing but calm, order and a friendly welcome. Free to read online (in German), printed edition on Amazon.

The good pitches go first.
