The wait is over: on 16 September 2026, the FIA officially released the Formula 1 calendar for 2027. Your race weekend at the Red Bull Ring is locked in — and so is your spot at Schitterhof CAMPING WEISS, without you having to do a thing.
The date: July 9–11, 2027
The Austrian Grand Prix takes place from 9 to 11 July 2027 — a Friday-to-Sunday weekend, as usual. The Red Bull Ring is one of 24 confirmed venues for the 2027 season; the contract with Spielberg runs until 2041 anyway.
Why the date moved later than expected
For a while, the placeholder in our system was the last weekend of June — the traditional date of recent years. The FIA ultimately reshuffled the 2027 season: the British Grand Prix at Silverstone moves to 2–4 July, right before Austria. Spielberg and Silverstone now form a back-to-back weekend, pushing Austria a week later than usual — to 9–11 July. F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has also confirmed there will be even more sprint weekends in 2027.
