What am I allowed to take to the race track and what not!

The security staff at the Red Bull Ring are very helpful and courteous. But they are also consistent when it comes to preventing misconduct by guests. The instructions of the security staff, the police and the stewards must always be followed.

Here you will find the rules of conduct for the Red Bull Ring and which items are prohibited on the premises and which you are allowed to take with you. This is to ensure that your visit to the races is safe and peaceful for you and all other guests. 


PROHIBITED ACTIONS AND BEHAVIOUR
Access to and stay on the event site is permitted during opening hours without exception. Sleeping overnight or camping on the event site is not permitted.
Visitors must stay on the marked paths. Staying on the stairs and escape routes, climbing over and sitting on the fences or barriers is prohibited. 
It is forbidden to bring animals.
Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may not enter the event area or may be expelled from the premises. In this case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the entrance fee.
The erection and display of posters on the entire premises, including the forecourt, is not permitted without the express written consent of the organiser.
Official merchandise will be sold on the event site. Do not purchase merchandise from non-official merchandising vendors. Also, do not attempt to sell or distribute merchandise, even if it is free of charge.
The use of unmanned devices (e.g. drones) or model aircraft/unmanned aerial vehicles is strictly prohibited anywhere on the site.  

ITEMS ALLOWED ON THE RED BULL RING
Functioning mobile phones / mobile phones
Cameras, film and video cameras with batteries for private use and NOT for commercial purposes (e.g. NO video cameras suitable for television)
Canes for the blind, walking aids
Key rings, purse chains
Medicines for personal use
Flagpoles up to 1.6 m or less than 2 cm in diameter, if they do not obstruct the view; in general, access to the stands with flagpoles brought along may be denied
Commercially available pocket lighters
Binoculars
Compact sun umbrellas and umbrellas in the standing-room area
Folding chairs and folding armchairs in the standing area
Plastic bottles and beverage cans

PROHIBITED ITEMS AT THE RED BULL RING
Spectators are not permitted to bring any objects of any kind that can be thrown or shot at or that could otherwise disturb or endanger the peace, order and safety at the event site. 

The use of professional television or video cameras and equipment for professional sound recordings is strictly prohibited.
Beverage containers in the form of glass and other breakable bottles (except unbreakable plastic bottles and commercial cans).
Barbecues, cookers and other appliances for preparing food
Weapons of any kind and articles having a weapon-like effect, such as knives, arrows, etc.
Articles and objects that can be used as weapons or projectiles, in particular metal objects such as detachable chains, iron bars and pieces of iron
Laser pointers of all kinds
Pyrotechnic objects of all kinds; in general, it is forbidden to bring fireworks, smoke bombs, incendiary devices, sticks, poles, garden and other large umbrellas, glass bottles, stones, stabbing, cutting and slashing tools, and weapons of all kinds
Parasols in the seating area
Drugs and stimulants
Racist, xenophobic, radical right-wing, national socialist, sexist or political propaganda material
(Domestic) animals
Spray cans, corrosive, flammable, colouring substances or containers with substances that are hazardous to health or highly flammable
Bulky items, including scaffolding, ladders, bicycles, skateboards, (electric) scooters, Segways, and hand or wheeled carts are prohibited. 
Bulky, large bags, large backpacks, suitcases and sports bags are prohibited for access to the stands. For the purposes of this provision, bulky luggage includes all items that cannot be stowed in the ticket office area.
Beach shells, tents, pagodas or similar structures and constructions.

The staff at the Red Bull Ring are very friendly and helpful, but there are still rules to follow. If you break them, you risk not being allowed on the circuit or being turned away, even if you have a valid ticket.
